Top Art and Design Apps in Ghana: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top five art and design applications on a unified platform in Ghana showcased interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps varied in performance metrics throughout the period.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.6K in late October and again at $1.5K in early December. Downloads began with a significant 25K in the first week of October and saw a notable dip mid-quarter before recovering to around 7K by the end of December. Active users started at 99K, with a decline mid-quarter, stabilizing around 72K towards the end.

Arvin® - AI Logo Maker saw a steady increase in active users, growing from 12.5K in early October to over 32K by the end of December. Although revenue fluctuated, it reached $418 in the last week of December. Downloads showed a varied pattern, starting at 8K and ending the quarter at 5.1K after a mid-quarter drop.

Flyers, Poster Maker, Design maintained a relatively stable performance. Revenue peaked at $132 in the final week of December, while downloads saw a moderate increase, ending the quarter at 906. Active users remained consistent, hovering around the 1.4K mark throughout the period.

AI Art, Image & Logo Generator had a challenging quarter with declining downloads, reaching zero by the end of December. Revenue and active users saw slight fluctuations but remained relatively low, with active users peaking at 919 in the last week.

Lastly, AI Video - AI Video Generator showed an upward trend in downloads, culminating in 429 by the end of the quarter. Revenue varied, peaking at $86 in early November, while active users increased from 149 to 328 by the quarter's end.
